It’s been awhile

I know it has been awhile since I’ve done a post here. Until today, I didn’t realize that I missed the entire month of Feb.

But it has been for good a reason. I’ve been busy setting up my new portal page for my Art Show business, American Kiwi Photo.

In preparation for the 2020 Art Show Season I though it best to finally get around to setting up my “Portal” page to all things American Kiwi Photo.

So Welcome to the new portal for

American Kiwi Photo

American Kiwi Photo

Here you can find more about my photography, where I will be this art show season, see my current portfolio, and access the various ways you can get your very own photography print by me, Mark Dodd via American Kiwi Photo.

Please check it out and let me know what you think.

Print of “Arches” Sold

Wish to thank the buyer of my photo “Arches” in Europe. Since I see the place as APO AE I also wish to thank them for their service to our country, be they active military or a family member who stationed overseas.

Sold a print of the Naval Academy Chapel Dome

I’m always grateful to anyone who thinks one of my photos are worth purchasing and got surprised by a sale that occurred back in April.

Why I say surprised is that I had no idea as I seem to have missed the email letting me know. Got the email today of the payment transfer and was like, what? So naturally I checked to see I sold a 10.00″ x 8.00″ print of Naval Academy Chapel side Dome to a buyer from Virginia Beach, VA.

So a very belated thank you to that buyer.

Have been blessed with another sale today. This buyer selected the greeting card format of my Farming the Field print, which is one of the many formats you can purchase any of my photography prints in.

I’m assuming the person they are sending it to is a John Deer fan 🙂

Thanks to the buyer from Westerville, OH

Recent Sale – US Naval Academy Insignia, again :)

US Naval Academy Insiginia

Been lucky again to have a sale. I do appreciate any purchase that has been made.

This is a picture of the US Naval Academy Insignia/Coat of Arms that is on the wall of the visitors center at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis Md.

I have it labeled as the insignia as not being in the military or associated with the Naval Academy, I had to look it up on the visitors website to see what it was called. I have since been told that it is actually the coat of arms.

My apologies to any Naval Academy personal or graduate if I offended by calling it the wrong thing.

I wish to thank the local buyer from Leroy, NY for purchasing one of my photos.

I’m sure it will look nice on your wall

[update – I’ve been informed that this is technically the Naval Academy Coat of Arms]

I wish to thank the local buyer from Annapolis for purchasing one of my photos.

Nice choice of framing by them, If I do say to myself.

Just a reminder, you don’t have to get the print framed as you can just get the print itself on a variety of media choices, including phone cases now.

A Recent Sale of “To the point”

I have again been lucky to have another sale of one of my photos.

This is a photo of the rear of a 1963 Corvette that was taken at the GreenMount Station Car show in 2013

Thank you to the buyer from Reese, MI, I hope you like your print when it arrives.

I know it’s cold. Spring is just around the corner

20140108-001221.jpgIt’s been rather cold around here in Maryland recently. Yes I know you folks from the North think this is nothing, but for here is it way below our normal temperatures.

I’m trying to stay positive and keep thinking that spring and warm scenes like this are only a few months away
