The great folks at Peak Design have just kicked off their latest kickstarter product.

This time it is what I’m sure is going to be the world’s best travel tripod.

It comes in two flavors. Aluminum alloy or carbon fiber. Even at the retail price, these come in my lower than their closest competition. Especially for the carbon fiber model.

Today Peak Design releases their Travel Line of products via Kickstarter.

 

I’m a customer and big believer in the design and quality of the Peak Design Products. I own two bags, the backpack and the everyday sling bag, along with several camera straps. They have been great products.

 

If you have ever considered getting their products, getting them during a Kickstarter is the least expensive way to get the new products. Granted you may have to wait for a little to get them, but it will be well worth the wait.

If you have a mirrorless camera I would recommend getting the Slide Lite version. I had purchased the regular Slide version of the previous model and it was rather bulky for my mirrorless camera.

If you have a full sized DSLR, you will need the regular slide to support the weight of your camera comfortably.
